1, Purpose and scope of application:
The fineness of fly ash is measured as one of the quality indexes for evaluating fly ash grade.
2, Instrument and equipment:
(1) Air jet sieve (include controls and air jet sieve seat)
(2) Industrial vacuum cleaners (include dust collectors and vacuum pimps)
(3) cyclone separator
(4) Metal standard sieve (mesh size 45μm);
(5) Sieve retention collection bottle
(6) Other things: hose, brush, wood hammer
3. Test process:
(1) Insert one end of the suction hose into the suction port of the industrial vacuum cleaner and the other end into the suction port of the air sieve through the pressure adjusting joint.
(2) Insert the power plug of the industrial vacuum cleaner into the seat behind the air jet sieve.
(3) Insert the power supply of the air jet sieve into 220V ac power supply.
(4) Take 50g sample, precision 0.1g, pour it into 45μm square opening sieve. Place the sieve on the air jet sieve seat, cover with the Plexiglas.
(5) Switch the timing switch to 3 minutes, the air jet sieve begins to work.
(6) When the air jet sieve begins to work, observe negative pressure meter. When the negative pressure is greater than 2000Pa, it means the work is normal. When the negative pressure is less than 2000Pa, the instrument should stop. Clean the dust of vacuum cleaner before sieving.
(7) In the process of sieve analysis, it is found that fine ash is adsorbed on the sieve cover, which can be gently knocked by the wooden hammer to make the ash fall down.
(8) 3 minutes later the air jet sieve stops working automatically. After stopping the sieve, collect and weigh the sieve retention in the sieve mesh, accurate to 0.1g.
4, Treatment of experimental results:
The fineness of fly ash should be calculated according to the following formula:
